To ensure employers and recruiters can contact you with relevant job opportunities it's important to keep your personal and profile information up to date at all times.

This is completely up to you but your username will appear on the website and will be visible to people who are eligible to contact you via our messaging platform.

No. Your personal details and your CV document will not form part of your public profile. Your personal details will only be made available to a recruiter or employer who is registered with us and has bought one of our products.

We will never share with any recruiter or employer the following information that you give us during the registration process: Date of birth; Gender. We collect this information for internal data analysis only. For more information please see our terms of service and privacy policy pages.

Yes. One of the things that makes us different is the fact that we promote our Chef profiles across our extensive online network. This includes social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. By sharing each profile in this way we can help maximise you’re chances of getting noticed by the best employers and getting hired.

Hidden formatting sometimes increases CV size. If your CV document is over the 1MB limit, you can try the following:

  • Remove any tables or images from your CV.
  • Copy and paste the text of your CV into notepad and then copy and paste it back into your Word document.

To update your profile, login to your account. Click on the relevant tab and once you have made the changes you require, click the save button.

To update your login details such as email and password, login and click the ‘account’ link. From here you’ll be able to update / save your new details.

To sign in you need to be registered with Onlychefs.co.uk

If you can't remember your sign in details you can request a reminder that will be sent to you via email. The address the email will be sent to is the one you used to register your account with.

If you haven’t forgotten your sign in details but can’t access your account, you may be experiencing problems with cookies and may need to enable cookies or clear your cookies and cache.

CVs should be like a good ad - eye catching, easily digestible and memorable. When developing your unique profile statement, be concise and precise. We can't stress enough the importance of conveying what you can do, rather than what you’d like to do.

Our advice to jobseekers using Only Chefs is to focus on the reasons why someone should hire you. If you only had 20 seconds in front of the Chef you would most like to work for, what would you say to make them hire you over other jobseekers?

As the number of Chefs we have on our website grows it is important that members adhere to some basic dos and don’ts. This is one of them! It’s the content of your profile that will make a difference to employers looking to hire, not whether you put everything in CAPITALS!

A good place to start is to look at other members’ videos so you can draw your own conclusions as to what would work best in conjunction with your Only Chefs profile. Here are some ideas that we really like from a range of sectors to help you get started.

To connect a YouTube video to your profile post just select the video option rather than image and enter the URL address of your YouTube video. A thumbnail image of your video will then appear along side your profile on the main website.

We don't allow email addresses or telephone numbers to be added to your public profile for data protection purposes. However, once a potential employer / recruiter has bought one of our hiring products they are able to access your contact details, CV and links to you social media pages (if you have registered these with us). This access is given in accordance with our terms of service (both general and employer / recruiter specific) and privacy policy. All of the personal data that is available to employers / recruiters is only viewable once they have securely logged in to their Only Chefs account.

Some of our members are active jobseekers and are happy to support their profile with a current and relevant picture of themselves, or a link to a video. Others while being active or passive jobseekers choose to remain anonymous for confidentiality reasons. The choice is yours and at anytime you want to change what picture is used, all you need to do is to log into your account and edit your profile accordingly.

You can respond to messages that recruiters and employers send to you, but you're not currently able to directly contact them without them having made initial contact. This is to ensure that we can continue to match the right chefs to the right opportunities quickly.

The ‘contact me’ facility on Only Chefs is at present only available to users who are registered with us as either a recruiter or employer and have bought one of our hiring products.

We monitor all of the profile posts that we receive and reserve the right to suspend any post that we feel breaks our terms of service. If we suspend your profile we will email you within 24hrs as to the reasons why this has happened along with suggestions as to how you can rectify the issue(s) and re-activate your details.

If at anytime you would like to be removed from our mailing list you can either follow the link that is present on all our emails that enable you to unsubscribe, or email us at: admin@onlychefs.co.uk

If you no longer want to have a profile displayed on Only Chefs you can login to your account and suspend or delete your profile. If you would like your account to be permanently removed from the website please email us at admin@onlychefs.co.uk

If you're seeing an error page that tells you your browser can't connect to Onlychefs.co.uk there may be a problem with your connection to the Internet. You can check whether your Internet connection is working by visiting http://www.google.co.uk. If you still get the same error message, you should contact your Internet service provider.

If you can see other sites but not Onlychefs.co.uk, then there may be a problem with you’re cookies and you may need to enable cookies or clear your cookies and cache.

To update your profile login to your account and click on the relevant tab. Once you have made the changes you require, click the save button.

To find Chefs use the ‘Find Chefs’ section of the website. All of the Chefs we have registered are shown here. To filter your search use the find criteria available to pinpoint the candidates you are looking for. The search criteria allows you to filter using multiple selections.

We recommend you start your search on a broad basis then refine it to find the best matching candidates.

Keyword searching is used to find words and phrases contained within each of the Chef profiles that are posted on our website. You can use the search box located on the ‘Find Chefs’ page of the website to perform searches. You can refine keyword searches by using:

  • AND - this means that all words or phrases must be present
  • OR - this means that at least one word or phrase must be present
  • NOT - this means that the word or phrase must not be present
  • “ " are used to indicate that you want to search for a phrase, rather than individual words
  • ( ) are used to define the order in which you wish to search
  • By having an asterisk (*) at the end of any keyword, the search will expand the search term to include all forms of that word.

You can only use our message platform to contact Chefs if you have bought one of our recruitment products, it's active and you're logged in to your account.

No. You need to be registered with us as an employer or recruiter and be logged in to be able to create a shortlist.

Yes. Once you’ve registered with us and are logged in you will be able to create a shortlist of candidates using the ‘Find Chefs’ area of the website. However, you won’t be able to access the details of Chefs registered with us such as CV, email address, telephone number etc without buying one of our recruitment products.

Simply go to your shortlist and for each Chef you want to remove just un-click the shortlist button and they will be deleted.

The following recruitment products are available for employers and recruiters to buy through our website:

1 day access pass (24hrs)
1 week access pass (7 days)
1 month access pass (30 days)

Each of the above give you access to the details of the Chefs we have registered on our site, their CV, contact details and where applicable their social media profiles.

All of our recruitment products need to be activated within 7 days of purchase. Once you have bought one of our products online you can choose whether to activate it right away or activate it later. If you choose to activate your product later, activation needs to take place within 7 days for it to remain valid. Once activated you will have access for the following length of time depending on the product purchased:

1 day access pass (24hrs)
1 week access pass (7 days)
1 month access pass (30 days)

Once access has run out you will no longer be able to contact Chefs or view / download CVs.

Our online payment processing is handled by Stripe.

When we receive a successful payment your account will be immediately credited with the product you have bought. Please avoid closing relevant browsers whilst your transaction is being processed.

If you have any problems with online purchases, please contact us by telephone or email quoting your transaction ID if applicable.

The number of CV / Profile downloads is subject to a per user fair usage cap. A user is a person or organisation with a unique login. A Client may have more than one user with Onlychefs.co.uk.

1 week pass: 75 CV / Profile downloads per user per day.
2 week pass: 75 CV / Profile downloads per user per day.
1 month pass: 75 CV / Profile downloads per user per day.

For the purpose of the fair usage cap, each of the following will count as one download: (i) downloading a candidate's CV from the Website; (ii) viewing a candidate's CV on the Website (iii) viewing a candidate’s contact details and / or contacting them through our onsite messaging platform.

If you have registered with us and bought one of our employer / recruiter products, that product is valid against your login details only on a one user, one product basis. You will not be able to buy a product from us and then share your access details with others for the purpose of multiple use at the same time.

If you need multiple user access for your organisation please do get in contact as we have some exciting deals available.

Once you have registered with us and bought one of our recruitment products you will be able to access the CVs of the Chefs we have registered on our site. Simply click on the view CV button that will be available next to each candidate to view / download their CV.

We often find that our platform is a good place to start a conversation with the Chef you want to discuss a job opportunity with, however, you’re welcome to contact them using the direct email address or telephone number that they have registered with us.

When you send an email to one of our registered Chefs using our message platform, we’ll automatically send a notification to their personal email account letting them know they have a new message.

If you’ve used our platform to send an email to one of the Chefs we have registered and they’ve responded, we’ll automatically send a notification to the email account (you gave us when registering) to notify you of a new message.

Onlychefs.co.uk is a people board not a job board. If you’ve registered with us as an employer or recruiter you can search and shortlist Chefs and connect with them by buying one of our paid for recruitment products.

We are working on a range of products that will help you reach and engage with your target Chef audience. These include:

  • Job e-shots
  • Newsletter sponsorship
  • Company profiles
  • On site banner opportunities

All of our transactions are managed and processed by Stripe, we do not collect or retain any financial details supplied by you when buying any of our recruitment products.

All of the transactions that Stripe manage on our behalf are encrypted to the highest global standards. Their payment systems are monitored and audited regularly by world leading Qualified Security Assessors (QSA), so you can be confident that their services are completely secure.

Transactions processed using Stripe go through powerful fraud prevention tools to check if your card details have previously been compromised somewhere else online or to prevent the illegal use of a card by an unauthorised person.

We have worked hard to ensure that Onlychefs.co.uk is secure for both jobseekers and employers / recruiters. We use the ‘https’ protocol across the site and have partnered with Trustwave® a globally trusted brand for our Internet security and compliance.

We reserve the right to suspend any account that we feel breaks our terms of service. If we suspend your account we will email you within 24hrs as to the reasons why this has happened / further details.
